Pilots – Please feel free to submit your CV if you meet our minimum requirements as shown below:

Captain – Minimum of 2000 hours PIC
First Officer – At least 600 hours total flying time with as much turbo-prop, twin time as possible.  We also give consideration to the quality of the flying hours.

In addition to the above, a minimum of 50 hours Multi-Engine flying is also required.

These criteria are operated due to the nature of our operation, being special mission maritime surveillance involving low flying over the sea.

Operations Coordinator


We are currently seeking to expand our Operations Team and recruit an experienced Operations Coordinator based at our Head Office in Cranfield.

The position requires a dedicated and self-motivated individual who is able to work under their own initiative, together with the flexibility and ability to work to strict deadlines.

Prospective candidates should possess some or all of the following skills and experience:

  • Be multi-disciplined and able to work on their own initiative
  • Have knowledge of multi-leg trip planning, flight time limitations and flight planning systems
  • Knowledge of aircraft performance, weight and balance and maintenance procedures
  • Be well versed in normal operations procedures including weather, notams and flight watch
  • Be familiar with CAA, EASA and aircraft manufacturers publications
  • A flexible approach to working patterns
  • Demonstrate a high degree of accuracy and reliability
  • Hold a full UK driving licence, unrestrictive passport and the right to EU employment

Licensed Engineer


We are currently seeking to recruit a full-time Licensed Engineer to provide engineering support for the Maritime Patrol service on behalf of Marine Scotland at Inverness Airport and the scheduled passenger inter-island air services at Tingwall (Shetland) and Oban Airports.

 

The position involves travel between our Inverness, Shetland and Oban bases.  

 

The ideal candidate will be dedicated and self-motivated, able to work under their own initiative together with the flexibility and ability to work to strict deadlines.

 

Licensed Engineer Requirements

 

Inverness

Must hold an EASA Part 66 B1.1 Engineers License with NO RESTRICTIONS & MUST have Reims F406 type rating. Engineers with group type rating and Pratt and Whitney PT6 Engine rating may be considered.

 

 

Shetland / Oban

Must hold an EASA Part 66 B1.2 Engineers License with NO RESTRICTIONS & MUST have Britten Norman Islander BN2B type rating. Engineers with group type rating and Lycoming Engine rating may be considered.

 

A B2 Licensed Engineer would also be considered.

 

Other essential requirements include a full driving license, the right to live and work in the UK and the ability to provide a criminal record check (Disclosure Scotland).
