Oban Webcams
There are some beautifully situated webcams in Oban that provide visibility on some of the town’s views all year round.
Why have webcams?
Whether you’re a local who is unable to easily access the local sights, have moved away and want a reminder of home or are simply curious to see what's happening in Oban, you can do so with the webcams. They provide fantastic access to Oban’s famous sunrises and sunset as well as catching aircraft and some of the local wildlife, albeit without the same level of clarity as capturing the action in person.
Airport Webcam
There is a live feed of Oban Airport via the webcam there. While the feed is limited in terms of resolution it’s great to view aircraft. The visible backdrop is beautiful, with a clear view of Ardmucknish Bay.

Northern Lighthouse Board Pier
This webcam is located at the Northern Lighthouse Board Pier. It shows views across the bay from Dunollie Castle, along the Esplanade and the Calmac Ferry Terminal.

North Pier
There is also another on North Pier. This provides great views around the bay including the Cathedral, Oban Esplanade, Oban Times Pier and the Calmac Ferry Terminal.
